Introduction: Corrosionisamajorconcernforsteelstructuresinvariousindustries,includingconstruction,automotive,andmanufacturing.Zinc-calciumphosphatecoatingshaveemergedasapromisingsolutionforimprovingthecorrosionresistanceofsteelsurfaces.Thesecoatingsnotonlyprovideabarrieragainstenvironmentalfactorsbutalsocanundergoself-healingwhendamaged,therebyenhancingtheirlongevity. Methodology: 1.Q345steelsurfacepreparation:TheQ345steelsampleswerepreparedbycleaningthesurfaceusingaseriesofchemicaltreatmentssuchasdegreasing,pickling,andrinsing. 2.Zinc-calciumphosphatecoatingdeposition:Theprocessparameters,includingconcentration,pH,temperature,andimmersiontime,werevariedtoanalyzetheirinfluenceonthecorrosionresistanceofthecoating.Coatingsweredepositedusingvariousconcentrationsofzincandcalciumphosphates,differentpHsolutions,andatvariabletemperaturesandimmersiontimes. 3.Characterizationofcoatings:Thecorrosionresistanceofthecoatingswasevaluatedusingtechniquessuchaselectrochemicalimpedancespectroscopy(EIS)andsaltspraytesting.Themorphologyandcompositionofthecoatingswereexaminedusingscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)andX-raydiffraction(XRD).
