Introduction: Magnesiumalloys,withtheirremarkableproperties,suchaslowdensity,highspecificstrength,andgoodcastingability,haveattractedconsiderableattentionaspotentiallightweightmaterials.However,theconventionalcastingmethodsformagnesiumalloysoftensufferfromseriouscastingdefects,suchasporosityandcoarsemicrostructure.Thesemisolidslurryprocess,whichinvolvespartiallysolidifyingthealloybeforecasting,hasbeendevelopedasasolutiontoovercometheselimitations. Methodology: Inthisstudy,AZ91Dmagnesiumalloysemisolidslurrywaspreparedusingthebubblestirringmethod.Variousprocessparameters,includingstirringtime,stirringspeed,bubblesize,andbubbledensity,wereinvestigatedtodeterminetheireffectonthemicrostructureofthesemisolidslurry.Themicrostructurewasanalyzedusingopticalmicroscopy,scanningelectronmicroscopy,andX-raydiffraction.Themechanicalpropertiesofthesemisolidslurrywereevaluatedthroughtensiletesting. Results: TheresultsshowedthattheprocessparametershadasignificantinfluenceonthemicrostructureoftheAZ91Dmagnesiumalloysemisolidslurry.Longerstirringtimeandhigherstirringspeedledtofinerandmoreuniformlydistributedprimaryalpha-Mgparticles.Thiscanbeattributedtotheincreasedshearforcesandnucleationratesduringthestirringprocess.Moreover,smallerbubblesizeandhigherbubbledensityresultedinamorerefinedmicrostructureduetotheincreasedactivenucleationsitesprovidedbytheb
