Introduction: Landusechangesoccurduetovariousfactorssuchasurbanization,agricultureexpansion,deforestation,andclimatechange.Understandingthesechangesandtheirimpactsontheenvironmentisessentialforsustainablelandmanagement.Remotesensingimagery,includingaerialphotographsandsatelliteimages,hasbeenwidelyutilizedinlandusechangemonitoringduetoitsavailability,flexibility,andefficiency.Thispaperfocusesontheapplicationofremotesensingdataforlandusechangemonitoringanddiscussesthedifferentmethodsandtoolsusedintheprocess. Methodology: 1.DataAcquisition:Remotesensingdata,includingsatelliteimages,aerialphotographs,andLiDARdata,arecollectedfromvarioussources.Thesedatasourcesshouldcoverdifferenttimeperiodstocapturethelandusechangesovertime. 2.Preprocessing:Theacquireddataundergoespreprocessingtoensuredataqualityandcompatibility.Thisincludesgeometricandradiometriccorrectionstoremoveanydistortionsorerrorspresentinthedata. 3.ImageClassification:Inordertomonitorthelandusechanges,theremotesensingimageryisclassifiedintodifferentlandcoverclassesusingvariousclassificationalgorithms.Thesealgorithmscanincludesupervised,unsupervised,orobject-basedclassificationtechniques. 4.ChangeDetection:Oncethelandcoverclassesareidentified,changedetectionanalysisisperformedtocomparethelandcoverclassesofdifferenttimeperiods.Thisanalysiscanbecarriedoutusingvariouschangedetectiontechniques,suchaspost-classificationcomparison,imagedifferencing,orvegetationindices. 5.AccuracyAssessment:Theaccuracyofthelandusechanged
