基于EDEM的双卧轴搅拌机混合度研究 Abstract: Thestudyfocusesonthemixingefficiencyofadual-shaftmixerbasedontheDiscreteElementMethod(DEM),specificallyanalyzingthemixingqualityandperformanceofthemixer.TheDEMmodelprovidesadetailedunderstandingofthebehaviorandinteractionsofindividualparticles,allowingforaccuratesimulationsandpredictions.Thisresearchaimstoexplorethefactorsinfluencingthemixingqualityandprovideinsightsforoptimizingthedesignandoperationofdual-shaftmixers. 1.Introduction Themixingprocessisessentialinvariousindustries,suchaspharmaceuticals,foodprocessing,andchemicalproduction.Dual-shaftmixersarecommonlyusedduetotheirabilitytoachieveefficientanduniformmixing.However,themixingefficiencyisinfluencedbyseveralfactors,includingthemixerconfiguration,particlesize,andoperatingparameters.Therefore,itisnecessarytostudythemixingprocessindetailtoimprovetheeffectivenessandqualityofmixing. 2.Methodology TheDiscreteElementMethod(DEM)isanumericalsimulationtechniquethatmodelsthebehaviorofindividualparticles.Itprovidesadetailedunderstandingofparticleinteractions,motion,andforcesactingoneachparticle.Inthisstudy,theDEMmodelisusedtosimulatethemixingprocessofadual-shaftmixer.Themodelincludesdetailedrepresentationsofthemixergeometry,particleproperties,andmixingconditions. 3.ModelSetup Tosimulatethemixingprocessofadual-shaftmixer,themodelsetupincludesthegeometricparametersofthemixer,suchasthesize,shape,andpositioningofthemixingelements.Theparticleproperties,includingthesize,density,andshape,arealsoconsidered.Themixingconditions,suchastherotationalspeedoftheshaftsandthemixingtime,aredefinedinthemodel. 4.MixingQualityAnalysis Themixingqualityisevaluatedbasedonseveralmetrics,suchasthesegregationindex,coefficientofvariation,andmixingindex.Thesemetricsprovidequantitativemeasuresoftheuniformityandefficiencyofthemixingprocess.Byanalyzingthemixingqualityunderdifferentoperatingparametersandmixerconfigurations,theinfluenceofthesefactorsonthemixingefficiencycanbedetermined. 5.OptimizationofDual-ShaftMixerDesign
