Thispaperaimstoexploretheresearchonfatiguecrackpropagationandtheremaininglifeofvariablepressureadsorbers.ItbeginsbyintroducingtheconceptofVPAsandtheirsignificanceinindustrialapplications.Additionally,themechanismsoffatiguecrackinitiationandpropagationinVPAsarediscussed,highlightingthefactorsthatinfluencecrackgrowth,suchasstresslevels,materialproperties,andoperatingconditions. Theoreticalmodels,suchastheParislaw,theWalkermodel,andtheDugdale-Barenblattmodel,arereviewedtodescribethecrackpropagationbehaviorandpredictthefatiguelifeofVPAs.Thesemodelsincorporateparameterssuchasstressintensityfactors,cracklengths,andmaterialpropertiestoestimatetherateofcrackgrowthundercyclicloading.
