Introduction Thenewtensionedmembranestructurewithringbeamanddomeiswidelyusedinmanyfieldapplicationsduetoitssubstantialadvantages,suchaslargespan,highstrength,lightweight,andfastinstallation.Thenewtensionedmembranestructureiscomposedofatensilemembraneandacablesupportsystem,amongwhichthecablesprovidetheprimarystructuralsupport.Inparticular,thecablesarearrangedintomultiplelayersandconnectwiththeringbeamanddometoformacontinuousandstablestructure.However,giventhatthecablesaresubjectedtoacertainleveloftension,anypartialbreakageincablesmaycausethecontinuouscollapseofthestructure. Inrecentyears,researchershaveinvestedsubstantialeffortstostudythefailurecharacteristicsandanti-collapseperformanceoftensionedmembranestructures.However,mostoftheexistingstudiesfocusontheoverallfailureofthestructure,whilefewstudieshavebeenconductedtoanalyzethepartialcablebreakageperformanceofthenewtensionedmembranestructurewithringbeamanddome. Inthisstudy,wewillanalyzethepartialcablebreakagebehaviorofthenewtensionedmembranestructure,andevaluatetheanti-continuouscollapseperformancethroughnumericalsimulations.Theresearchresultscanprovidesignificantreferenceandguidanceforthedesignandconstructionofthenewtensionedmembranestructurewithringbeamanddome.
