Introduction Non-pointsourcepollutionisamajorenvironmentalchallengeinwatershedsworldwide.Itiscausedbythedischargeofpollutantssuchassediment,nitrogen,andphosphorusintosurfacewatersfromvarioussourcesincludingagriculturalland,urbanrunoff,andresidentialactivities.IntheDanjiangkouReservoirarea,non-pointsourcepollutionhasbeenidentifiedasasignificantthreattowaterqualityandecosystemhealth. TheAnnAGNPS(AnnualizedAgriculturalNon-PointSource)modelisawidelyusedtoolforpredictingnon-pointsourcepollutioninwatersheds.Itisdesignedtosimulatenutrientandsedimenttransportandestimatenon-pointsourcepollutionfromagriculturalandforestedland.Themodelisusefulinidentifyingthemajorsourcesofnon-pointsourcepollutionanddevelopingeffectivestrategiesforreducingit. ThisstudyaimstoapplytheAnnAGNPSmodeltoinvestigatenon-pointsourcepollutionintheHeimiaogouwatershedoftheDanjiangkouReservoirarea.Byidentifyingthemainsourcesofnon-pointsourcepollution,thisstudyaimstoproviderecommendationsformitigatingitsimpact.
