CharlotteBrontewasoneofthegreatfemalenovelistsinthe19thcenturyEnglishliterature,whowasfamousforhergreatnovelJaneEyre. CharlotteBrontewasborninYorkshire,EnglandonApril21,1816.Itwasatimewhenwomenandthepoorwereoppressedandunequallytreated.JaneEyre’sStoryUnfortunatelyshecametoknowRochesterhadgotalegalwifeinfactwhentheygotdowntogetmarry.Becauseofherownprinciples,shemadeuphermindtoleave.Aftersufferingalotinherleavingway,shemethercousin,Brocklehurst,andinheritedalargenumberoflegacies.WhenhepromisedtoJaneEyre,shethoughtofMr.Rochesterandfinallyreturned.AfterfindingRochester’smisfortunebroughtbyhisoriginalmadwife,Janechosetostaywithhimforever.
