Theresultsshowedthattheeffectivenessofmonetarypolicywasnon-uniformindifferentregions.Theresearchrevealsthataccommodativemonetarypolicytendstoincreasehousepricesintherelativelyunder-developedregionsofChinamorethaninthehighly-developedregions,whiletightermonetarypolicyhasamoresignificantimpactonhousingpricesinthemorehighly-developedregionsthanintherelativelyunder-developedregions.Theresearchalsofoundthatfactorssuchasthelevelofurbanizationandhousingmarketcharacteristicscanaffecttherelationshipbetweenmonetarypolicyandthehousingmarket. Overall,thesefindingssuggestthatpolicymakersshouldtakeintoaccountregionaldissimilaritieswhendesigningmonetarypolicytomanagerealestaterisks.Thispaperprovidesinsightsforpolicymakerstoimplementtargetedmacroeconomicpoliciestooptimizethedevelopmentoftherealestatemarket.
