Introduction Large-spanbuildingstructuresarebecomingmorecommoninmodernarchitecture,buttheirmaintenanceandmanagementposegreaterchallengesthantraditionalstructures.Especiallyinareaswithsevereweatherconditions,suchasstrongwinds,earthquakes,andrainstorms,large-spanbuildingstructuresmayhavegreatersafetyrisksduetotheirstructuralcharacteristics.Therefore,thehealthevaluationoflarge-spanbuildingstructuresplaysavitalroleinmaintainingtheirsafetyandservicelife. Healthevaluationoflarge-spanbuildingstructuresreferstotheprocessofcollecting,analyzing,andinterpretingdataonthestructuralhealthofabuilding.Thisprocessincludestheassessmentofpotentialrisksanddevelopingmitigationstrategiestopreventanyadverseeffects.Thehealthevaluationsystemshouldbecomprehensive,objective,andquantitative.Itshouldbeabletorespondtochangesinatimelymannerandprovideaccurateandreliableevaluationsofthebuilding'sstructuralcondition.
