Introduction Elevatorsarewidelyusedinhigh-risebuildingsforverticaltransportation,providingconvenienceandensuringsmoothpeopleflow.However,elevatorfailuresoftenoccurduetothewearandtearofcomponents,agingofthesystem,orenvironmentalfactors.Thesefailurescanleadtoseriousconsequencessuchaselevatoraccidents,operationaldowntime,andpassengerinjuries.Therefore,itisessentialtodiagnoseandtroubleshootelevatorfaultstimelyandaccuratelytoensureoperationalreliabilityandpassengersafety. Traditionalelevatorfaultdiagnosismethodsrelyonmanualinspectionandsubjectivejudgment,whichisinefficientandpronetoerrorsduetothecomplexityoftheelevatorsystem.Withtheadvancementoftechnology,varioussensorsandmonitoringsystemsareintegratedintoelevatorstocollectdataontheoperationstatusofcomponents.However,itischallengingtoextractmeaningfulinformationfromthevastamountofdatacollected,whichmaycausediagnosticerrorsandprolongmaintenancetime.
