Introduction Withtheaccelerationofurbanization,theamountofimpervioussurfaceareaincitieshasincreasedrapidly.Thishascausedseriousproblemsrelatedtourbanfloodingandwaterquality.Theconceptofspongecityistomimicthenaturalwatercycleprocessandcontrolandmanageurbanrainwaterinasustainableway.Itaimstoachieveabalancebetweenurbandevelopmentandnaturalresourcesprotection.Spongecityroadrainwaterfacilitiesareanimportantcomponentofspongecityconstruction,whichnotonlyimprovesurbanfloodcontrolanddrainagecapacitybutalsoenhancesurbanenvironmentalquality.
