Definition,Classification,andAdvantagesofPrefabricatedComponents Prefabricatedcomponentsaremanufacturedinindustrysettingsandthentransportedtothebuildingsite.Thecomponentscanbeclassifiedintothreecategories:structuralcomponents,non-structuralcomponents,andsubsystems.Prefabricatedcomponentsprovidethefollowingadvantages:firstly,thequalityofprefabricatedcomponentsisgenerallyhigherduetotheuseofhigh-qualitymaterialsandrigorousproductionprocesses.Secondly,constructiontimeisshortened,withlesson-siteengineering,lessweathereffects,andminimalimpactonnearbybuildings.Thirdly,thequalityoftheconstructionisimproved,withfewerproblemson-site,andlowerbuildingandsitewaste.Finally,prefabricatedcomponentscontributetosustainabilitybyreducingtheenvironmentalimpactofconstructionactivities. ConstructionofArchitecturalInformationModels Theconstructionofthearchitecturalinformationmodel(BIM)isthebasisofaprefabricatedcomponentlibrarythatoperateswithBIMtechnology.Themodelcontainsgeometric,spatial,physical,functional,andotherinformationaboutthebuildingcomponents.TheBIMapproachsupportsdesignandcollabora
