含水砂岩在不同应变率下的三轴抗压强度分析 摘要: 含水砂岩是一种广泛存在于地表和地下的岩石类型,在许多工程领域都有重要的应用。本文采用三轴压缩试验来研究含水砂岩在不同应变率下的强度特性,并分析了含水砂岩的应变率效应。结果表明,含水砂岩的三轴抗压强度随着应变率的增加而减小,并且存在明显的应变率效应。最终得出结论,控制应变率是提高含水砂岩抗压强度的关键。 Abstract: Sandstonewithwaterpresentisawidelydistributedrocktypeonthesurfaceandunderground,withimportantapplicationsinmanyengineeringfields.Inthispaper,triaxialcompressiontestswerecarriedouttoinvestigatethestrengthcharacteristicsofsandstonewithwaterpresentunderdifferentstrainrates,andthestrainrateeffectofsandstonewithwaterpresentwasanalyzed.Theresultsshowedthatthetriaxialcompressivestrengthofsandstonewithwaterpresentdecreasedwiththeincreaseofstrainrate,andtherewasanobviousstrainrateeffect.Finally,itwasconcludedthatcontrolofthestrainrateisthekeytoimprovingthecompressivestrengthofsandstonewithwaterpresent. Introduction Sandstonewithwaterpresentisacommonrocktypeinsedimentaryrocks,anditsmechanicalpropertieshavebeenwidelystudiedbygeologistsandengineers.Inthefieldofgeotechnicalengineering,thestrengthpropertiesofsandstonewithwaterpresentareofparticularconcern.Themainfactorsaffectingthestrengthpropertiesofsandstonewithwaterpresentarethewatercontent,degreeofweathering,andstrainrate,amongothers.Theaimofthisstudyistoinvestigatetheeffectofstrainrateonthecompressivestrengthofsandstonewithwaterpresent. ExperimentalProcedures Inthisstudy,sandstonesampleswithwaterpresentwerecollectedfromaquarryintheUnitedStates.Thesampleswerethendriedinalaboratoryovenat50°Cfor24hourstoremoveanyresidualmoisture.Thesampleswerethencutintocylindricalshapeswithadiameterof50mmandalengthof100mm. Triaxialcompressiontestswereperformedonthesandstonesamplesusingaservo-controlledtriaxialcompressiontestingmachine.Thetestswereconductedatroomtemperatureandatmosphericpressure.Theloadingpathwassettoaxialstrain-controlled,andtheloadingratewasadjustedtoachievedifferentstrainrates.Thestrainraterangeswerechosenbasedonthetypicalratesusedingeotechnicalengineering.
