Introduction Ruraltourism,asanimportantformoftourism,hasbeendevelopingrapidlyinrecentyears.Withthedeepeningofthenationalstrategyofruralrevitalization,ruraltourismhasbecomeanimportantwaytopromoteeconomicdevelopmentinruralareas.JiangxiProvinceislocatedinthesoutheastofChina,withabundanttourismresources.Asanimportanttouristprovince,JiangxiProvincehasuniqueadvantagesinruraltourismdevelopment.However,therearestillsomechallengesandproblemsinthedevelopmentofruraltourisminJiangxi. 1.CurrentsituationofruraltourisminJiangxiProvince JiangxiProvincehasarichtourismresourcesandgreatpotentialforthedevelopmentofruraltourism.TheruraltourisminJiangxiProvinceismainlyconcentratedinthewesternmountainousareas,thecentralandsouthernhillyareas,andthenortheasternplainareas.Thereare343ruraltourismsitesinJiangxiProvince,coveringanareaof8,800squarekilometers,andreceivingmorethan30milliontouristseachyear.TheruraltourismindustryinJiangxiProvincehasbecomeanimportantpillarindustry,drivingthedevelopmentoflocaleconomy. 2.ProblemsandchallengesofruraltourisminJiangxiProvince AlthoughtheruraltourisminJiangxiProvincehasachievedsomeachievements,therearestillsomeproblemsandchallengesinitsdevelopment: (1)ThedevelopmentofruraltourisminJiangxiProvinceisnotbalanced.Thewesternmountainousareasandthecentralandsouthernhillyareashavemoreresourceadvantagesandfasterdevelopment,whilethenortheasternplainareaslagbehind.
