Introduction Therecyclingofasphaltpavementisapressingconcerninthepavementindustry.Theuseofrecycledasphaltmaterialscansignificantlyreducetheconsumptionofvirginmaterials,mitigatetheenvironmentalimpactsofroadconstruction,andenhancethesustainabilityofinfrastructuresystems.However,thephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofthereclaimedasphaltpavement(RAP)differfromthoseofvirginasphaltmaterials,resultinginlower-qualityasphaltmixtures.ToimprovetheengineeringpropertiesofasphaltmixesincorporatingRAP,recyclingagents(RA)arecommonlyaddedtomodifytheagingpropertiesandenhancetheworkabilityofthemixtures. RAisablendoforganicandinorganiccompounds,suchasrejuvenators,polymers,anddehydratedoils,thataremixedwithRAPtoimproveitsrheologicalproperties.TheincorporationofRAalterstheagingcharacteristicsofasphaltmixtures,resultinginasignificantperformanceimprovementoftheasphaltpavementlayer.However,theeffectofRAontheroadperformanceofasphaltmixesremainsunder-investigated.Hence,acomprehensivestudyisrequiredtoevaluatetheinfluenceofRAontheperformanceofasphaltmixesincorporatingRAP.
