京津冀协同发展背景下北京老年人异地养老服务研究 1.Introduction TheBeijing-Tianjin-HebeiRegion(alsoknownastheJing-Jin-JiRegion)isoneofthemosteconomicallydevelopedregionsinChina.Withatotalpopulationofover100million,theregionishometoalargenumberofelderlypeople.Asthepopulationages,thedemandforelderlycareservicesisincreasing.TheBeijinggovernmenthasbeenpromotingthedevelopmentofelderlycareservicestomeetthegrowingdemand.Therecentpolicyof“Jing-Jin-JiCoordinationDevelopment”hasfurtheracceleratedthedevelopmentofelderlycareservicesintheregion.ThisstudyfocusesontheelderlycareservicesforBeijingresidentswhomovetoothercitiesintheregionforretirement,andexploresthechallengesandopportunitiesofprovidingsuchservices. 2.LiteratureReview Theprovisionofelderlycareserviceshasbecomeamajorchallengeinmanycountriesduetotheagingofthepopulation.InChina,theelderlypopulationhasreached250million,andthedemandforelderlycareservicesisincreasingrapidly.However,theprovisionofelderlycareservicesinChinaisfacingmanychallenges,includingtheshortageofskilledcaregivers,thelackofgovernmentfunding,andtheimbalanceofregionaldevelopment. TheJing-Jin-JiRegionhasimplementedvariouspoliciestoencouragethedevelopmentofelderlycareservices.Inrecentyears,theregionhaslaunchedthe“ElderlyCareServices2020”plantopromotetheconstructionofelderlycarefacilitiesandthetrainingofcaregivers.Thegovernmenthasalsoencouragedprivateinvestmentintheelderlycareindustry.However,therearestillmanychallengestobeaddressed,suchastheunevendistributionofelderlycareresources,theshortageofqualifiedcaregivers,andthelackofcoordinationamongdifferentadministrativeregions. 3.Methodology Thisstudyisbasedonacombinationofqualitativeandquantitativeresearchmethods.Thequalitativeresearchinvolvesaseriesofinterviewswithkeystakeholdersintheelderlycareindustry,includinggovernmentofficials,seniorcareproviders,andretirees.Thequantitativeresearchinvolvesasurveyofasampleof500BeijingresidentswhohaveretiredandmovedtoothercitiesintheJing-Jin-JiRegion,tounderstandtheirneedsandpreferencesforelderlycare
