Abstract（摘要）
ThismidtermreportisbasedonresearchontheprofessionaldevelopmentofEnglishteachersinvocationalcolleges.ThereportanalyzesthecurrentsituationofprofessionaldevelopmentofEnglishteachersinvocationalcolleges,andproposesaseriesofstrategiestoimprovetheirprofessionaldevelopment.Thestrategiesincludetheestablishmentofaprofessionaldevelopmentplatform,theprovisionoftrainingandsupportforteachers,theadoptionofinnovativeteachingmethods,andthepromotionofresearchandexchangeamongteachers.Byimplementingthesestrategies,vocationalcollegescanhelpEnglishteachersimprovetheirskills,enhancetheirprofessionalism,andbettermeettheneedsofstudentsandsociety.
本中期报告基于高职院校英语教师专业发展的研究，分析了目前高职院校英语教师专业发展的现状，并提出了一系列可行的策略，以改善其专业发展。这些策略包括建立专业发展平台、为教师提供培训和支持，采用创新教学方法，促进教师的研究和交流等。通过实施这些策略，高职院校可以帮助英语教师提高技能，增强专业性，并更好地满足学生和社会的需求。
Introduction（介绍）
Asoneofthecorecoursesofvocationaleducation,EnglishplaysanimportantroleincultivatingvocationaltalentsinChina.However,thequalityofEnglisheducationinvocationalcollegeshaslongbeenaconcern.Inrecentyears,thecentralgovernmenthasissuedaseriesofpoliciestopromotetheprofessionaldevelopmentofvocationaleducationteachers,includingEnglishteachers.Despitetheseefforts,theprofessionaldevelopmentofEnglishteachersinvocationalcollegesstillfacesmanychallenges.
ThismidtermreportaimstoanalyzethecurrentsituationofprofessionaldevelopmentofEnglishteachersinvocationalcolleges,andproposestrategiestoimprovetheirprofessionaldevelopment.ThestudyisexpectedtocontributetothedevelopmentofEnglisheducationinvocationalcollegesandtheimprovementofthequalityofvocationaleducationinChina.
Methodology（方法）
Thisresearchadoptsamixed-methodapproach,combiningqualitativeandquantitativemethods.QualitativemethodsincludeinterviewswithEnglishteachersinvocationalcollegestounderstandtheirviewsontheirprofessionaldevelopmentandthechallengestheyface.QuantitativemethodsincludesurveysofEnglishteachers'professionaldevelopmentneedsandtheirsatisfactionwithcurrentprofessionaldevelopmentprograms.
