Abstract
ThispaperselectsclassroominteractioninhighschoolEnglishteachingastheresearchobject.Throughobservationandanalysisofmultiplecases,thefollowingconclusionsaredrawn:inhighschoolEnglishclassrooms,teacherguidanceandactivestudentparticipationarekeytopromotingeffectiveinteraction,andeffectiveinteractioncanimprovestudents'interestandlearningeffectivenessinEnglishlearning.Inaddition,thispaperalsoproposessomesuggestionsandplansonhowtopromoteclassroominteractioninhighschoolEnglish.

Introduction
Classroominteractionreferstothecommunicationandexchangebetweenteachersandstudents,aswellasbetweenstudentsthemselvesintheclassroomteachingprocess.ItisanimportantpartofEnglishteachinginhighschool,whichcaneffectivelystimulatestudents'interestinlearningandimprovetheirlearningeffectiveness.However,intheactualteachingprocess,someproblemssuchasthelackofinteraction,one-waycommunication,andlowstudentparticipationhaveoftenappeared.Therefore,itisnecessarytoexploreeffectivewaystopromoteeffectiveinteractioninhighschoolEnglishclassrooms.ThispaperwillconductacasestudyonhighschoolEnglishclassroominteractionandproposesomesuggestionstoaddresstheproblem.
Methodology
ThispaperselectedtwoclassesfromahighschoolinBeijingastheresearchsubject.Bothclasseshavethesamenumberofstudents,andweretaughtbydifferentteachers.Inoneoftheclasses,theteacherguidedthestudentstoactivelyparticipateinthelearningprocess,whileintheother,theteachermainlyusedone-waycommunication.Duringtheobservationprocess,theresearchersrecordedthetypeofcommunicationusedbytheteacherandthedegreeofparticipationbythestudents,aswellasanyotherfactorsthatmayhaveinfluencedtheinteraction.
