Introduction Inconel601nickel-basedhigh-temperaturealloyiswidelyusedinvarioushigh-temperatureenvironmentssuchaschemicalprocessing,heattreatment,andpollutioncontrolsystemsduetoitsexcellenthigh-temperatureoxidationandcorrosionresistance.However,theweldingprocessmaycausethedegradationofthemechanicalpropertiesandcorrosionresistanceoftheweldedjointsduetotheformationofmicro-cracks,residualstresses,andotherdefectsintheheat-affectedzone(HAZ)andweldzone.Therefore,itisnecessarytoimprovetheweldingprocessandaddsomesurfactantstoenhancethemicrostructure,mechanicalproperties,andcorrosionresistanceoftheweldedjoints. WeldingProcess Inthepresentwork,gastungstenarcwelding(GTAW)processwasusedtoweldInconel601nickel-basedhigh-temperaturealloysheets.Theweldingparameterswereoptimizedtoachieveoptimumweldingconditions.Theweldingwasperformedona2.5mmthickInconel601sheetusingaGTAWtorch,whichwasshieldedwithargongas.Theweldingcurrentwassetat150A,andtheweldingspeedwas5cm/min.Acleaningsolutionwasusedtocleantheweldedsheets,andsurfactantswereaddedtoimprovethepropertiesoftheweldedjoints.
