TheoreticalFoundation Constructivismisbasedonthebeliefthatpeopleconstructknowledgebasedontheirexperiences.Itsuggeststhatlearnersplayanactiveroleintheacquisitionofknowledge.Theybuildtheirunderstandingoftheworldbycreatingmentalmodelsbasedontheirexperiences.Thesementalmodelschangeovertimeasnewexperiencesareadded.Thus,knowledgeevolvesaslearnersconstructtheirunderstandingoftheworld.
