Introduction Roadandbridgeengineeringisacrucialdisciplinethatbridgesthegapbetweenurbanandruralareas,ensuringsmoothandseamlesstransportationforpeopleandgoods.Thechangesandchallengesinsocietyandtechnologyhaveemphasizedtheneedforwell-trainedprofessionalsinthisfield.Atpresent,however,thetraditionaleducationsystemcannotfullyprovidethenecessaryprofessionaltrainingandcultivationforroadandbridgeengineering. TheCDIOframeworkprovidesaparadigmforaddressingthisneed.CDIOisanabbreviationforConceive-Design-Implement-Operate,whichreferstothesystematicprocessesfollowedbyengineersinsolvingproblemsanddesigninginnovativesolutions.ThispaperproposesthedevelopmentofaCDIO-basedundergraduateprograminroadandbridgeengineering,whichemphasizestheintegrationoftheory,practice,andcreativity. CDIO-basedCurriculum TheCDIO-basedcurriculuminroadandbridgeengineeringinvolvesanactiveandintegratedlearningapproach,withafocusonpracticalexperienceandreal-worldscenarios.Thecurriculumisdesignedtodevelopthestudents'problem-solvingskills,teamwork,creativity,andcommunicationskills. Theprogramincludesfourstagesoftraining:Concepttraining,Designtraining,Implementationtraining,andOperationstraining.Inthefirststage,Concepttraining,studentswillacquirethenecessarytheoreticalknowledgeinroadandbridgeengineering.Thestudentsareencouragedtolearnthroughacase-basedapproach,whichintegratestheorywithpracticalexamples. Inthesecondstage,Designtraining,studentswilllearnhowtouseengineering
