TheCDIOframeworkprovidesaparadigmforaddressingthisneed.CDIOisanabbreviationforConceive-Design-Implement-Operate,whichreferstothesystematicprocessesfollowedbyengineersinsolvingproblemsanddesigninginnovativesolutions.ThispaperproposesthedevelopmentofaCDIO-basedundergraduateprograminroadandbridgeengineering,whichemphasizestheintegrationoftheory,practice,andcreativity. CDIO-basedCurriculum TheCDIO-basedcurriculuminroadandbridgeengineeringinvolvesanactiveandintegratedlearningapproach,withafocusonpracticalexperienceandreal-worldscenarios.Thecurriculumisdesignedtodevelopthestudents'problem-solvingskills,teamwork,creativity,andcommunicationskills.
