含缺陷燃气聚乙烯管热熔接头的力学性能实验与分析 摘要: 本文通过对含缺陷燃气聚乙烯管热熔接头进行了力学性能实验和分析。首先对含缺陷的热熔接头进行了检测和评价,并进行了相应的寿命预测。接着进行了拉伸试验和弯曲试验,分析了实验中的力学性能表现。最后对结果进行了总结和归纳,得出结论并提出了建议。 关键词:燃气聚乙烯管;热熔接头;力学性能;缺陷;实验分析;寿命预测 Introduction: Withthedevelopmentofmodernindustry,gastransportationhasbecomeincreasinglyimportantinourdailylife.Gaspolyethylenepipesarewidelyusedingastransportationduetotheiradvantagesofhighstrength,goodtoughness,andexcellentresistancetohighandlowtemperatures.Oneofthekeycomponentsofgaspolyethylenepipesisthethermalfusionjoint.Thethermalfusionjointisformedbyheatingtheendsoftwopolyethylenepipesandthenpressingthemtogether.However,thermalfusionjointsmayhavedefectsduetofaultypipeinstallation,weldingprocedures,andmaterialquality,whichcancausegasleaks,reducetheservicelifeofthepipeline,andendangersafety. Inthispaper,weconductedmechanicalperformancetestingandanalysisonthermalfusionjointsofgaspolyethylenepipeswithdefects.First,weevaluatedthedefectsofthethermalfusionjointandpredicteditsservicelife.Then,weconductedtensileandbendingteststoanalyzethemechanicalperformanceofthejoint.Finally,wesummarizedtheresults,drewconclusions,andprovidedsuggestions. Experimentalmethods: 1.Evaluationofdefects Visualinspection,X-rayradiography,andultrasonictestingwereusedtoevaluatethedefectsofthethermalfusionjoint.Thelocation,size,andfrequencyofthedefectswererecorded. 2.Servicelifeprediction ThepredictedservicelifeofthethermalfusionjointwascalculatedbasedontheFastFourierTransform(FFT)method.TheFFTmethodisastatisticalmethodthatanalyzesthestressandstraindataofthejointandestimatestheexpectedtimetofailure. 3.Tensiletest Tensiletestswereperformedonthethermalfusionjointusingauniversaltestingmachine.ThetestsampleswerepreparedaccordingtoASTMD638-14,andthespecimenswerepulledtofailureatarateof5mm/min. 4.Bendingtest Thebendingtestwasperformedonthethermalfusionjointusingathree-pointbendingtestsetup.ThetestsampleswerepreparedaccordingtoASTMD790-17,andthespecimenswereloadedtofailureatarateof0.05mm/s.
