Introduction Thegrowingdemandforconstructionmaterialsandtheincreaseinconstructionwastehaveledtoaneedforsustainablebuildingsolutions.Inrecentyears,theuseofrecycledmaterialsinconstructionprojectshasbecomeanimportantresearchanddevelopmentarea.Oneoftheserecycledmaterialsisrecycledaggregates,whichareobtainedfromconstructionanddemolitionwaste.However,thequalityofrecycledaggregatesisgenerallypoor,whichlimitstheiruseinconcretestructures.Toaddressthisissue,manystudieshavebeenconductedtoenhancethequalityofrecycledaggregates. Anotherrecycledmaterialisrecycledbrickpowder,whichisproducedbypulverizingthewastebricksfromdemolishedbuildings.Inrecentyears,theuseofrecycledbrickpowderasafineaggregateinconcretehasgainedattention. Inthisstudy,circularsteelpipeswereusedastheoutercasingoftheshortcolumns,andpolymer-modifiedrecycledbrickpowderwasusedasasubstitutefornaturalfineaggregateintheconcretemix.Theaimofthisstudywastoinvestigatethecompressiveperformanceoftheshortcolumnsmadeofrecycledaggregateconcretewithpolymer-modifiedrecycledbrickpowderandcircularsteelpipes.
