Introduction Nanjing,theancientcapitalofChina,hasarichculturalheritageandisrenownedforitstraditionalarchitecture.TheYiheluHistoricalBlock,locatedinthecitycenter,isoneofthebest-preservedhistoricalblocksinthecityandisasignificantattractionfortouristsbothdomesticallyandinternationally.Theblockcoversanareaof22.5hectares,withover300traditional-stylebuildingsconstructedduringtheMing(1368-1644)andQing(1644-1912)dynasties.TheYiheluHistoricalBlockisaliving,breathingexampleofChineseculturalandarchitecturalheritage,anditspreservationisessential. ThewallsurroundingtheYiheluHistoricalBlockisanintegralpartofitsheritage.Thewall,measuring4,300metersinlengthandthreemetersinheight,wasconstructedduringtheMingDynastyandrebuiltduringtheQingDynasty.Itsconstructionmaterialisgraybricks,withathicknessof0.6meters.Thewallssurroundtheblock,providingbothphysicalandvisualprotectionofthehistoricalbuildings.However,thewallshavebeendeterioratingovertheyearsduetolackofmaintenance,weathering,andenvironmentalfactors.
