Introduction Modifiedbitumen,whichisderivedfromtraditionalbitumenbyincorporatingvariousadditives,hasbeenwidelyusedinpavementconstructionduetoitsexcellentperformancecharacteristics,suchashigh-temperaturestability,low-temperatureperformance,anddurability.However,themixingprocessofmodifiedbitumenisoftendifficultbecauseofitshighviscosityandpoorworkability,especiallyatlowtemperatures.Inordertoovercometheseissuesandimprovetheperformanceofmodifiedbitumen,warmmixadditiveshavebeendevelopedandusedinthefield.Inthisstudy,theinfluenceofthreedifferenttypesofwarmmixadditivesonmodifiedbitumenwasinvestigated,namely,fattyacidamides,zeolite,anddiatomite. ExperimentalSection Materials Abasebitumen(60/70)wasobtainedfromalocalrefinery,andthemodifiedbitumenwasproducedbyblendingthebasebitumenwith5%styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS)polymer.Thethreewarmmixadditives,namely,fattyacidamides,zeolite,anddiatomite,wereobtainedfromcommercialsources.Themodifiedbitumenwasthenblendedwithdifferentwarmmixadditivestoproducemodifiedbitumenwithdifferentcompositions. TestMethods Thefollowingtestswereconductedtoevaluatetheperformanceofmodifiedbitumen: 1.ViscosityTest(BrookfieldViscometer) 2.PenetrationTest(NeedlePenetrationTest) 3.SofteningPointTest(Ri
