基于覆盖层结构检测的应用层组播网络构建及优化研究 Abstract: Withtheincreasingpopularityofmultimediaapplications,multicasthasbecomeanessentialandwidelyusedtechniqueinnetworkcommunication.However,theconstructionandoptimizationofapplication-layermulticastnetworksarestillchallengingduetotheinherentproblemssuchasscalability,delay,andreliability.Inthispaper,weproposeanovelmulticastnetworkconstructionmethodbasedonoverlaynetworkstructuredetection.Byusingthismethod,thenetworktopologycanbeanalyzedandoptimized,andaoptimizedmulticasttreecanbeconstructed.Meanwhile,wealsopresentseveraloptimizationstrategiestofurtherimprovethenetworkperformance,includinglinkpruning,congestioncontrol,andredundancyremoval.Oursimulationresultsshowthattheproposedmethodcaneffectivelyimprovethenetworkperformanceintermsofdelay,throughput,andreliability. Introduction: Multicast,whichreferstothetransmissionofdatafromonesendertomultiplereceivers,isanessentialtechniqueinnetworkcommunication.Comparedwithunicastandbroadcast,multicastcaneffectivelyreducenetworktrafficandimprovetheefficiencyofdatadelivery.Therefore,ithasbeenwidelyusedinvariousnetworkapplicationssuchasvideostreaming,onlinegaming,andteleconferencing. Application-layermulticast(ALM)isapopularmulticastmethodthatutilizestheexistingunicastinfrastructuretoachievemulticastcommunication.InALM,asourcenodedividesthedataintopacketsandsendsthemtomultipledestinationsthroughamulticasttree,whichisarooted,directedspanningtreeconnectingthesourceandallreceivers.Themulticasttreedeterminestheforwardingpathofeachpacketandensuresthatdataisdeliveredtoallreceivers. However,theconstructionandmaintenanceofmulticasttreesinALMarechallengingduetothefollowingreasons: 1.Scale:Thenumberofreceiverscanbeverylarge,leadingtoahugemulticasttreewithalargenumberoflinksandnodes. 2.Delay:Thedatatransmissiondelaycanbelongduetothelengthofthemulticasttree. 3.Reliability:Thefailureofasinglelinkorreceivercancausethemulticasttreetobreak,leadingtothelossofdatadelivery.
