Objective: Theobjectiveofthisstudyistoinvestigatetheperformanceofsemi-rigidconnectionnodesforsteelbeamsandcolumnsintheweakaxisdirection,utilizingwavedflangeplates.Throughexperimentalandnumericalsimulationmethods,thisstudyaimstoanalyzetheeffectsofthewavedflangeplateontheconnection'sstiffness,strength,anddeformationbehavior.Furthermore,thestudywillexplorethemechanismsofthesemi-rigidconnectionandprovidesuggestionsforoptimizeddesignandconstructionpractices.
