星载扇形波束扫描微波散射计在轨定标方法研究的中期报告 Abstract: Thismidtermreportpresentstheprogressofourresearchonin-orbitcalibrationmethodsforthespaceborneconical-scanningmicrowavescatterometer.Thescatterometerisdesignedtomeasureoceansurfacewindsandotherrelatedparametersandiscurrentlyinorbitonasatellite.Duetothechangingenvironmentofspace,thecalibrationoftheinstrumentisaconstantchallenge.Inthisstudy,wefocusontheuseofreferencetargetsonthegroundandtheonboardbiasmonitoringsystemtocalibratethescatterometerinorbit.Wepresentthepreliminaryanalysisofdatacollectedfromthesetwocalibrationmethodsanddiscusstheireffectivenessinimprovingtheaccuracyofthescatterometermeasurements. Introduction: Thespaceborneconical-scanningmicrowavescatterometerisacomplexinstrumentdesignedtomeasureoceansurfacewindsandotherrelatedparameters.Thisinstrumenthasbeenusedonseveralsatellitesandhasprovidedvaluabledatatothescientificcommunity.However,inordertomaintaintheaccuracyandreliabilityofthemeasurements,regularcalibrationisnecessary. Inthisstudy,weinvestigatetwomethodsofcalibration:theuseofreferencetargetsonthegroundandtheonboardbiasmonitoringsystem.Groundtargetsareusedtoprovideastablereferenceforthescatterometer,whilethebiasmonitoringsystemisusedtotrackchangesintheinstrumentovertime. Methods: Thereferencetargetsusedinthisstudyarelocatedonthegroundandaremadeupofvariousmaterials,suchasconcrete,metal,andvegetation.Thesetargetswerechosenbasedontheirreflectivityatthescatterometer'soperatingfrequency,andtheirstabilityovertime.Thescatterometerwaspointedatthesetargetsduringitsorbitandthedatacollectedwasusedtocalibratetheinstrument. Theonboardbiasmonitoringsystemisdesignedtotrackchangesintheinstrument'sperformanceovertime.Thissystemoperatesbymeasuringtheresponseoftheinstrumenttoaconstantinputsignal.Anydeviationfromtheexpectedresponseisanindicationofachangeintheinstrument'sperformance.Thisinformationcanbeusedtoadjustthecalibrationoftheinstrument.
