定语从句

定义：充当定语成分的句子，修饰名词或代词。
HeisthemanwhoIsawyesterday.

被定语所修饰的词叫先行词。定语从句必须放在先行词后。
关系代词：who,whom,whose,which,that
关系副词：where,when,why
指人：that,who,whom
指物：that,which

ThisisthebookthatIgiveyou.

把下列句子合为定语从句

只用which不用that的情况
1.引导非限制性定语从句
2.当关系代词前有介词时
3.当先行词本身为that时

只用that不用which的情况
1.先行词有序数词和形容词最高级修饰时
2.先行词有only，few，little,just,right,any,all,one等修饰时。
3.先行词是不定代词some,all,little,much,none,something,anything,nothing等时。
4.先行词为人和物的名词词组。
5.主句中有who，whom时。
6.在therebe和therelive结构中，先行词指物时。
7.先行词指物，在主句中作表语时。
8.在way（指方法）后面常用that代替how或inwhich结构。
9.当先行词有thesame修饰时，或当先行词和关系代词指同一人或物时。

只用who的情况
1.先行词为those指人时。
2.在therebe或therelive句型中先行词指人时。
3.先行词为指人的不定代词one,anyone,noone,all,nobody,anybody,none等。
