Introduction: Photovoltaicpowergenerationisapromisingrenewableenergytechnologythathasbeenwidelyappliedinmanycountries.Therooftopphotovoltaicgrid-connectedsystemisoneofthemostcommonapplicationsofphotovoltaicpowergeneration.Itcanproduceelectricityforthebuilding’sownuse,andthesurpluselectricitycanbefedbackintothepowergrid.Withthedevelopmentofsmartdistributiongridtechnology,itiscrucialtodesignanefficientandstablecontrolstrategyfortherooftopphotovoltaicgrid-connectedsystem. Methodology: Therooftopphotovoltaicgrid-connectedsystemconsistsofseveralkeycomponents,includingphotovoltaicpanels,inverters,transformers,andcommunicationequipment.ThePVpanelsconvertsolarenergyintoDCelectricity,whichisthentransformedintoACelectricitybytheinverter.TheACelectricityisfedintothepowergridthroughthetransformer.Thecommunicationequipmentisusedtomonitorandcontrolthesystem’soperation. Tooptimizethecontrolstrategyoftherooftopphotovoltaicgrid-connectedsystem,weproposeacomprehensiveapproachthatcontainstwoparts:hardwaredesignandsoftwaredesign.Thehardwaredesignincludesselectingtheappropriatetypeofequipmentandinstallingtheminthecorrectconfigurationtoensurethesafetyandefficiencyofthesystem.Thesoftwaredesignfocusesondevelopingacontrolstrategythatcanregulatethesystem’soperationundervariousconditions. Results: Wehavecompletedthehardwaredesignoftherooftopphotovoltaicgrid-connectedsystem,includingselectingtheappropriatetypeofphotovoltaicpanels,inverters,andtransformers.Wehavealsodesignedthecommunicationandauxiliaryequipmentnecessarytoensurethesystemoperatessafelyandefficiently.
