医学英语的主位结构研究的中期报告 Abstract: MedicalEnglishisanareaofstudythatrequiresasolidunderstandingoflinguisticstructuresandmedicalterminology.Thisreportpresentsthefindingsfromamid-termstudyontheuseofmainclausestructuresinmedicaltexts.Theanalysiswasconductedonacorpusofmedicalarticles,journals,andtextbooks.ResultsshowthatthemainclausestructuresinmedicalEnglisharegenerallycomplex,withmultipleclausesandsubordinations.Moreover,ahighfrequencyofpassiveandnominalizationswereobservedinthemainclauses.TheanalysissuggeststhatmasteringthemainclausestructuresinmedicalEnglishiscriticaltoeffectivelycommunicatemedicalinformationandresearchfindings. Introduction: MedicalEnglishisanintegralpartofthemedicalprofession,asitistheprimarylanguageusedforcommunicationinmedicalresearch,patientcare,andmedicaleducation.ThestudyofmedicalEnglishisextremelyimportantinordertoeffectivelycommunicatewithothermedicalprofessionals,patients,andresearchers.AkeyaspectofmedicalEnglishistheuseofcomplexmainclausestructures,whichcanbedifficulttocomprehendfornon-nativeEnglishspeakers.ThepurposeofthisstudywastoexplorethemainclausestructuresusedinmedicalEnglish,andtoidentifythemostcommonstructuresused. Methodology: Thestudywasconductedonacorpusofmedicaltexts,includingmedicaljournals,textbooks,andresearcharticles.Thecorpuswascompiledusingasystematicrandomsamplingtechnique,andcomprisedofarticlesfromvariousmedicaldisciplinesincludingneuroscience,cardiology,oncology,andothers.Atotalof100articleswereincludedinthecorpus. Theanalysiswasconductedusingacomprehensivegrammaticalanalysissoftwaretool.Thefocusoftheanalysiswasonidentifyingthefrequencyofuseofmainclausestructuresinmedicaltexts,thetypeofmainclausestructuresused,andwhetherclauseswereactiveorpassive. Results: TheanalysisrevealedthatthemainclausestructuresinmedicalEnglishweregenerallycomplexandlengthy.Themostcommonmainclausestructuresobservedwerethosecontainingmultipleclausesandsubordinations.Additionally,ahighfrequencyofpassiveandnominalizationswereobservedinthemainclauses.Theu
