Therefore,itisnecessarytoimprovetheinternationalizationlevelofuniversitylibrariesandenhancethecommunicationbetweenChineseandforeignstudents.Thewebsiteofuniversitylibraryisanimportantplatformforinformationdisseminationandresourcesharing.Therefore,thetranslationofuniversitylibrarywebsiteintoEnglishisofgreatsignificanceforpromotinginternationalcommunication,enhancingtheimageofuniversity,andprovidingmoreconvenientandcomprehensiveservicesforinternationalstudents. Currently,DalianMaritimeUniversity(DMU)hasestablishedcooperativerelationshipswithover100universitiesandresearchinstitutionsinmorethan50countries.ThenumberofinternationalstudentsenrolledinDMUhasreachedover2,000.However,thecurrentwebsiteofDMUlibraryisonlyavailableinChinese,whichmakesitdifficultforinternationalstudentstoaccessinformationandresources.Therefore,thisstudyaimstotranslatetheDMUlibrarywebsiteintoEnglishandtoimprovetheinternationalizationofthelibrary.
