基于SOA非线性偏振旋转效应的研究的中期报告 ThisreportprovidesanupdateontheresearchprogressofthenonlinearpolarizationrotationeffectbasedontheSOA. Fundamentally,thisresearchaimstoinvestigatehowtheSOA(semiconductoropticalamplifier)canbeusedfornonlinearpolarizationrotation,whichcanleadtothegenerationofultra-shortopticalpulsesforpracticaluseincommunicationnetworks. Toachievethis,wehavestudiedthebehavioroftheSOAunderdifferentoperatingconditions,includingvaryinginputpowerlevels,bitrates,andpolarizationstates.WehaveobservedthattheSOAcanperformnonlinearpolarizationrotationeffectively,enablingthegenerationofhigh-speedandhigh-poweropticalpulses. Additionally,wehaveconductedsimulationstoexploretheeffectsofvariousdesignparametersontheperformanceoftheSOA,suchasthelengthanddopingconcentrationoftheactiveregion.Thesesimulationshaveprovidedinsightintotheoptimalconfigurationsforachievingthedesiredresults. Furthermore,wehaveinvestigatedthepotentialapplicationsoftheSOA-basednonlinearpolarizationrotationeffect,suchaswavelengthconversionandregeneration,andhavetestedtheirfeasibilitythroughexperimentaldemonstrations. Overall,theresultssofarhavebeenpromising,andwewillcontinuetoanalyzeandrefineourfindingsintheupcomingresearchperiod.
