形容词和副词的比较级和最高级

一、含义和特征形容词表示某一事物或人的特征，副词表示某一动作的特征。形容词和副词有三种形式：原形、比较级、最高级。比较级：+er

最高级：the?+est

形容词、副词的本来形式就是形容词的原级。如：Johnisatallboy.两者间进行比较用到形容词比较级。如：JimistallerthanJohn.三者或者三者以上进行比较用形容词的最高级。Mikeisthetallestofthethreeboys.几个重要特征：as??as（notso....as/notas...as)中间一定用原形，than的前面一定要+er，形容词最高级前面一定要加the。（而副词的最高级前则可加或不加the。）注意：as,than后的人称代词用主格（口语中可用宾格）。形容词前不加the的特殊情况：1.the+序数词+最高级（形容词）+可数名词单数表示“第几大、长等??”。如：Ithinkthecomputeristhefirstmostusefultoolofall.我想电脑是所有中最有用的工具。2.形容词最高级前有物主代词时，不再加the。如：WuFenismybestfriend.吴芬是我最要好的朋友。3.most前加定冠词the表示最高级，加不定冠词a表示“非常”。如：Sheisamostbeautifulgirl.她是一个非常美丽的女孩。二、形容词、副词的比较级和最高级的规则变化如下：（1）一般直接加-er/-est。如：tall-taller-tallest,fast-faster-fastest单音节词如果以-e结尾，只加-r/-st。如：late-later-latest(注：-er结尾也要再加-er，如：clever→cleverer→cleverest）（2）重读闭音节词如末尾只有一个辅音字母，须双写这个字母，再加-er/-est。如：big-bigger-biggest,fat-fatter-fattest（3）以辅音字母加-y结尾的词，变y为i，再加-er/-est。如：heavy-heavier-heaviest,early-earlier-earliest（4）某些双音节和多音节词的比较级在原级前加more，最高级在原级前加most构成。如：beautiful-morebeautiful-mostbeautiful,careful-morecareful-mostcarful,quietly-morequietly-mostquietly,interesting-moreinteresting-mostinteresting有些不规则变化的，须逐一加以记忆。good/well－better－best,bad－worse－worstmany/much－more－most,little－less－leastfar－further－furthest（表示程度）,far－farther－farthest（表示远近）old－older－oldest（表新旧）,old－elder－eldest（表兄弟姊妹之间的长幼）三、比较级的用法1、在"...than..."句中。HeistallerthanI.（口语中常作：Heistallerthanme.）HeistwoheadstallerthanI.他比我高出两个头。他比我高。

Igotupearlierthanmymotherthismorning.我今天早晨起床比我妈妈还早。

Thisroomisthreetimesbiggerthanthatone.这个房间比那个大三倍。Herunsthreetimesfasterthanhisbrother.他跑的速度比他弟弟快三倍。2、在"which/who...,...or...?"句中，表示两者比较。Whichisbigger,thesunorthemoon?太阳和月亮，哪一个更大？

Whodrawsbetter，JennyorDanny？谁画得比较好，詹妮还是丹尼？3、比较级+and+比较级。It'sgettingdarkeranddarker.天越来越黑了。Heisgettingmoreandmoreinterestedinsports.他对体育越来越感兴趣。Hedoeshishomeworkmoreandmorecarefully.他做作业越来越认真了。4、Themore...,themore...。Themoreyoueat,themoreyouwant.你越吃越想要。
