GSMR系统的位置管理的研究的中期报告 Introduction GlobalSystemforMobileCommunications-Railway(GSM-R)isacommunicationsystemthatisusedbytherailwayindustry.Itprovidesvoiceanddatacommunicationservicesbetweentrainsandcontrolcenters.Withtheincreasingdemandforrailwaytransportationandtheincreasingnumberoftrainsonthetracks,thereisaneedtohaveanefficientlocationmanagementsystemthatcantrackthelocationofeachtrainaccurately.Thisreportpresentsthemid-termprogressofresearchonlocationmanagementinGSM-Rsystems. LiteratureReview LocationmanagementinGSM-Rsystemshasbeenextensivelystudiedintheliterature.ThemostcommontechniqueusedforlocationmanagementinGSM-RsystemsisbasedonCell-ID.ThistechniqueusestheuniqueidentifieroftheGSM-Rcelltodeterminethelocationofatrain.However,thistechniquehassomelimitations,suchastheinabilitytotrackthelocationofatrainaccuratelyintunnelsandareaswithpoorGSM-Rcoverage. AnothertechniquethathasbeenproposedintheliteratureisbasedonGlobalPositioningSystem(GPS).GPScanprovideaccuratelocationinformationofatrain,butitrequiresadditionalhardwareandcanbeexpensivetoimplement. ResearchApproach Theresearchapproachadoptedinthisstudyisacombinationoftheoreticalanalysisandsimulation.ThetheoreticalanalysiswillinvolveareviewoftheliteratureonlocationmanagementinGSM-Rsystems,whichwillhelptoidentifythestrengthsandweaknessesofexistingtechniques.ThesimulationwillinvolvetheuseofasoftwaretoolsuchasOPNETtosimulatetheperformanceofdifferentlocationmanagementtechniques. ResultsandDiscussion Theresultsofthesimulationwillbeusedtoevaluatetheperformanceofthedifferentlocationmanagementtechniques.Theevaluationcriteriawillincludeaccuracy,efficiency,andcost-effectiveness.Theresultsoftheevaluationwillbecomparedwiththeexistingliteraturetodeterminetheeffectivenessoftheproposedtechnique. Conclusion LocationmanagementisanimportantaspectofGSM-Rsystems,andthereisaneedtodevelopefficienttechniquesthatcanaccuratelytrackthelocationoftrains.Thismid-termreporthaspresentedtheapproach,literaturereview,andresearchplanforastudyonlocationman
