AbstractThispaperempiricallystudiesthefinanceagglomerationandregionalfinancedevelopment
disparitiesinChinabasedonthesampleof31provincesfrom1997to2009.Thispapercalculatesthedegree
offinanceagglomerationusingdifferentmeasuresandcomparestheresults.Also,thispaperdiscussesthe
spatialdependenceoffinanceindustryandtheevolutionofitusingMoralItestandMoralscatterplots.
Theresultsillustratethatfinanceindustrydoesnotshowsignificantspatialdependenceoragglomeration
forthewholecountry,however,thereexistssomearea,wherefinanceindustryhassomekindofspatial
dependence.
