ResultsThelongitudinalincisionwas(3.5±0.5)cmlong,thesuperiorextremitybeingthestarspot.Theskullwindowwaslocated posteriortostarspot,whichwas(2.5±0.5)cmindiameter.Theoperativecorridorwasbetweenthesubduraandepiarachnoedspace, whichwaslocatedposteriortothepetrousbone,anterolateraltothecerebella,andanteriortoflocculus.Theanglebetweentheapproach andsagittalplanewas45.0°±2.5°.Althoughthepathwaywasnarrow,theoperationfieldwasgreater,whichcouldreachtheabduens nervesuperiorly,andjugularforameninferiorly.ConclusionThekeytoasuccessfuloperationliesintheknowledgeoftherelated anatomicstructuresandskillfultechniqueofendoscopy.
