OneofthepopularcloudstorageoptionsisSQLitedatabase-basednetworkstorage.SQLiteisanopen-source,lightweight,andembeddeddatabasethathasgainedpopularityinmobiledevicesduetoitssimplicityandfunctionality.Itprovidesasimpleyetefficientdatabasemanagementsystemtostoreandaccessdata. ThispaperexploresthesecurityofSQLite-basednetworkstorageandhighlightsthesignificantvulnerabilitiesthatmightresultindatatheftorunauthorizedaccess.ThispaperalsopresentspossiblesolutionstoenhancethesecurityofSQLite-basednetworkstorage. 2.ThreatstoSQLite-basedNetworkStorage ThereareseveralwaysinwhichSQLite-basednetworkstorageisvulnerabletothreats.Herearesomeofthepossibleattacks: 2.1.SQLInjection OneofthemostcommonvulnerabilitiesinSQLite-basednetworkstorageisSQLInjection.ThisattackoccurswhentheattackerinsertsmaliciousSQLstatementsintheinputfieldsandgetssensitiveinformationfromthedatabase.SinceSQLitedatabasesstoretheirdatainbinaryfiles,attackerscaneasilymodifythedatafiletochangethedatabyinjectingthemaliciousSQLcommands. 2.2.Authentication TheauthenticationschemeofSQLite-basednetworkstorageiscrucialindeterminingitssecurity.Iftheauthenticationmethodissimple,suchasonlypasswordauthentication,itisvulnerabletobrute-forceattacks.Attackerscanusesoftwaretotestmultiplepasswordsuntiltheyfindthecorrectone.Iftheauthenticationschemeisnotrobust,attackerscaneasilybypassit. 2.3.Encryption TheSQLitedatabaseisnotencryptedbydefault,whichcanresultindatatheft.Ifthedatabasecontainssensitiveinformation,itshouldbeencryptedforbetterdatasecurity.Encryptioncanalsoprotectagainstunauthorizedaccesstothedatabase. 2.4.DataReplication DatareplicationisacommonfeatureinSQLite-basednetworkstorage.Datareplicationenablestheusertohaveacce
