Whilelisteningtoastory,ortosomeonerecountingtheirexperience,itisimportanttonotethesequenceororderofevents.Sometimes,peoplebeginbydiscussingthecurrentsituationandthengobacktodiscusseventsinthepast,orsometimes,peoplewillstarttheirstoryatthebeginningandthengoforward.Inthispart,youwilllearnhowtonoticethesequenceofeventswhileyouarelisteningtoastoryorsomeonerecountingyourexperiences.Payattentiontosomephrasesthatwillhelpyouunderstandwhenthingshappenedandinwhatorder.Someexamples:

Exercise:listentothepassageandwritedownthewordsorphrasesthatareusedtoshowwhensomethinghappenedandinwhatorder.
