(1)肯定句：主语＋be(was/were)＋其他.例如：
YesterdayIwaslate.昨天我迟到了。
(2)否定句：主语＋be(was/were)＋not＋其他.
例如：
YesterdayIwasnot(＝wasn't)late.
昨天我没有迟到。
[注意]wasnot/werenot可以缩写为wasn't/weren't。(3)一般疑问句：Be(Was/Were)＋主语＋其他？
肯定回答：Yes,主语＋was/were.
否定回答：No,主语＋wasn't/weren't.例如：
—Wereyoulateyesterday?昨天你迟到了吗？
—Yes,Iwas./No,Iwasn't.
是的，我迟到了。/不，我没迟到。
[注意]“Iwas…”变为一般疑问句时应为“Wereyou…？”
(4)特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词＋主语＋be(was/were)＋其他？例如：
Whenwereyoulate？你什么时候迟到了？4．标志词
(1)yesterday,yesterdaymorning/afternoon/evening,thedaybeforeyesterday等。
(2)last＋表示时间的词例如：
lastweek/month/year/season/summer/weekend/Sunday
(3)时间段＋ago例如：twomonthsago两个月前
(4)in＋过去的时间例如：in1899在1899年
(5)inthepast在过去5．其他
therebe句型的一般过去时态为“therewas/were…”。例如：
Thereweretwostoresinourschoolafewyearsago.
几年前我们学校有两家商店。
否定句：Thereweren'ttwostoresinourschoolafewyearsago.
一般疑问句：Weretheretwostoresinyourschoolafewyearsago?
肯定回答：Yes,therewere.否定回答：No,thereweren't.
特殊疑问句(提问two)：
