PhysiciansbelievemanydeathscanbepreventedwithproperuseofCPR,orcardiopulmonaryresuscitation.（心肺复苏技术） Therescuer(救助者)shouldfirstcheckforsignsofbreathingandpulse(脉搏),ifneitherispresent,havesomeonephoneforhelp.Meanwhiletherescuershouldpositionthevictim(受害人,发病人)ontheback,turnthevictim'sheadtotheside,andremoveanyformofobjectsfromairway.Thentilt(使倾斜)thevictim'sheadback,pinch(掐，捏)thevictim'snostrils(鼻孔)closed,andinhale(吸气)deeply,andplacetherescuer'smouthoverthevictim'stoformatightsill(基石,门槛).Therescuershouldexhaletwiceslowlyintothevictim'smouthuntilthechest(胸膛)rises. Therescuershouldbendwitharmsheldstraightupanddown,press15timesonthemiddleofthevictim'schest.Alternating(交替,轮流)thiscompressionwithmouthtomouthresuscitation(人工呼吸)for9to11secondsoruntilbreathingresumes(恢复).AftercompletingfourcyclesofCPR,therescuershouldcheckforanysignsofbreathingandpulse.Ifthereispulsenobreathing,continuerescuebreathing.Ifthevictimhasneitherpulsenorbreathing,continueCPRasnecessary.
